Morning tea with Bakers Delight!

Earlier this week I had the lovely opportunity to host a morning tea with some new treats from Bakers Delight . They have a new range of Lemon and Cream Cheese bakery items. They sent over some of them for my local playgroup, all nice and fresh. Here we have two Lemon and Cream Cheese Swirls and 10 Lemon and Cream Cheese Scrolls. I had a bit of time to set up the table before all the ladies arrived and they all 'oooh'd and ahhhh'd' once they saw the table. I couldn't bring too many things with me, as I still had the kids and their luggage, but I used some of my nice plates with a matching tea pot for some Earl Grey tea and some Heather Bailey for a lemony touch. Once we made our hot teas we tucked into the treats relaxed and enjoyed the lemon sensation. The Lemon Sweet Swirls/Scrolls are neither too lemony or sweet. There's a really nice balance and this wonderful scent of a bakery item that I loved. I think it could have been nutmeg? I couldn'

Just another day.

Now that school holidays are over I can almost relax but the days seem to be busier than usual. During the holidays I didn't load too many activities as I like to balance relaxing and kids activities. Like last time we went to the movies again and watched Madagascar 3. Awesome movie. I loved it as much as the kids and yes, even the youngest enjoyed it and we didn't have one wet their pants! I had a good friend over and we made chocolate cupcakes with raspberry icing from scratch! They tasted so good we've planned to make more from my cupcake magazine!!!   If you had the day I had last week you'd be begging for a holiday. It included the kids locking the bedroom door and their brother in the cot so I was frantically using a screwdriver to open it up to make it in time for school drop-off. Then, at the shops the soy sauce bottle fell out the bottom of the bag and spilled all over the floor in front of Woolies. Then 5mins later my 3yr old decides she wants to go toi

My Memories Suite and giveaway!

One of the gifts I recieved after the birth of my first baby was a scrap book album. I still have it at home after all these years but it's stored away, empty and waiting for my to fill it up. I had always envisioned pages full of beautiful pictures and decorations that you would see in lovely scrapbooks with heart-touching memories. I've been collecting a few bits of scrap stuff here and there but it all seems too much work and effort for someone who really can't "scrap" and "design" things. Fast forward and I've got the solution. Digital scrapbooking! My Memories is the perfect software for those of you who like the idea and want to scrapbook but don't have the time, patience or budget to collect all the fiddly bits you need to scrapbook. Plus, once you have it all done you can print it out and keep using those images and designs forever!   My Memories is not only for scrapbooking but I used it to create the cutest quilt label.
